This customized silk covered litz wire features a finished outer diameter with a width of 4.5 mm and a thickness of 4.4 mm. Internally, the wire is constructed from 4,875 individual strands of magnet wire, each with a conductor diameter of just 0.05 mm. These strands are precisely twisted together to minimize high-frequency losses such as the skin effect and proximity effect. The entire assembly is wrapped with an outer layer of nylon serving, which provides excellent electrical insulation, mechanical protection, and thermal stability.
